In our series ‘The people behind the brand’, today we talk to Katarina Rajman, the production manager at the Viernheim manufacturing plant.
Can you briefly introduce yourself?
My name is Katarina Rajman. As a skilled production worker, I am the contact person for my colleagues in production at ic audio’s Plant 2.
Our production facility focuses on manufacturing the TH-100 tunnel horn and OEM speakers for our customers. I make sure that we meet our quality standards and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols.
We produce approx. 2,500 – 3,000 loudspeakers per week, of which approx. 75% are for dispatch and the rest for the warehouse.
How did you find ic audio?
I joined ic audio in 2016 as a production worker. I quickly realised that I could develop well here.
Due to a lot of hard work and commitment, I became the Production Manager in 2018.
Since then, I have been contributing to the success of ic audio in my area of responsibility. The fulfilment of our quality promise is particularly important to me.
What does a typical workday look like?
I usually start my working day by checking the open production orders. After reviewing them, I distribute the pending work to the production team and check the production processes.
When production orders are finalised, all the necessary data is entered into the logistics system. The finished products are then sent to the warehouse or directly to the customer.
And after work?
I usually like to prepare for the next working day. After that, rest and relaxation are the order of the day. I find this through long walks and exercise. I read a lot and like to go swimming.
Katarina, thank you very much for your time.
